Prachi Desai opts out of ‘Rock On’

Few days back, filmmaker duo Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar expressed a desire to churn out sequel of their 2009 critically acclaimed film ‘Rock On’. Farhan has got on board Abhishek Kapoor to direct the sequel as he directed the previous film too. It seems that Kapoor was keen to sign small screen actor Prachi Desai in the sequel as she did a promising job in the previous film. Even Prachi seemed to be excited to reprise her role in the sequel as well.

Conversely, Prachi’s dates are not vacant since she is working on two projects- one with actor Abhishek Bachchan and other one with John Abraham. Juggling between the dates, Prachi cannot devote much time to the sequel and has opted out of the project. Sources close to Prachi reveal that Prachi is was very much excited to be the part of sequel as the previous film earned her recognition as a film actor and it was memorable experience for her as well.
