Katrina recommended Sallu for ETT

Bollywood’s reigning beauty Katrina Kaif apparently suggested her ex-flame and B'town superstar Salman Khan's name for YRF’s forthcoming production venture 'Ek Tha Tiger' helmed by Kabir Khan. Confirming the news, Salman stated in his recent media interaction that when director Kabir Khan approached Katrina for 'New York' in 2009, it was the 'Dabangg' star who recommended Kat to go forward with the film, as Salman was confident about the filmmaker Khan and had also seen his movie 'Kabul Express' that released in 2006.

However, this time it was Katrina who suggested Salman's name to Kabir and this is how the estranged couple got an opportunity to share screen space once again after 4 years.

The ex-flames were last seen together in Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvraaj' in 2008 that bombed at the Box-office. 'Ek Tha Tiger' is almost complete except a schedule that has to be completed and soon after that the team members would get busy with post-production task as the film is slated to have an Eid release.
