I was eagerly waiting to bag national award- Vidya Balan

Bollywood actor Vidya Balan who has bagged national award for her bolder portrayal of sex siren Silk Smitha says that she was awaiting the one from a long period. Vidya has been awarded by Best Actress Award for three times in her career and that is for 'Paa' (2009), 'Ishqiya' (2010) and 'The Dirty Picture' (2011).

Though Vidya might just have spent seven years in the film industry she has already bagged the tag of one of the finest actors of B'town and successor of B'town's one of the most talented actors Aamir Khan.

Vidya debuted in Bollywood through Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Parineeta' (2005) along with actors Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan. Vidya's latest release 'Kahaani' too has stormed the Box-office collections by bagging great critical acclamations.
