Emraan following Aamir’s footsteps

It seems B’town serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is following actor Aamir Khan’s footsteps by boycotting award functions. Few years’ back Mr. Perfectionist shunned awards functions and now it’s Emraan who’s doing the same. A leading daily quoted Emraan saying ‘For me its audience appreciation and Box-office collections that matter rather than awards. If ever I win any award in future, I would like it to pass on to others who value it more’.

After nine years, Emraan has successfully established himself in the film industry, as there was one time when he used to only feature in Bhatt’s movies. Conversely, things have changed and the ‘Jannat’ star has entered league of A-list actors. He is now working with top filmmakers and big banners.

His next projects include Karan Johar's production venture directed by Rensil D’Silva and YRF’s upcoming venture directed by Parmeet Sethi. Meanwhile, he has his hands full with Bhatt’s upcoming projects - ‘Raaz 3’, ‘Jannat 2’ and ‘Murder 3’.
