Though the unofficial strike in Kollywood ended and shootings resumed, the crew of Karthi's forthcoming film Alex Pandian with Suraj, being produced by Gnanavelraja witnessed trouble.
They were caning an important sequence near airport on Monday. Unfortunately the lightmen turned up late as a result of which the shooting had to be halted.
Sources say the FEFSI members deliberatly came late since the producer had some problems with actor - director Ameer over the Paruthiveeran issue.
The workers who turned up late demanded in writing from the producer that they will be paid revised wages. Honchos of producers council arrived to sort out the issue.
An emergency meeting was also convened in the evening.
