Story: Set on the backdrop of New York, the story begins with Charan (Revanth) who is an IT professional and he gets a new joinee into his team. She is Harika (Rajitha) and on seeing each other, both are in dismay. The flashback goes few years back. Apparently, Charan and Harika were college mates and it is love at first sight for Charan. However, his proposal is rejected by Harika as she wants to focus on her career. Cut to the present after two years, they become colleagues. Charan is out of Harika and wants to be just friends with her. However, Harika slowly begins to feel the love. But before she realizes her marriage gets fixed. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The directors have come up with a tender storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was lacking energy. The dialogues were stale. The script was average but screenplay was woven with moderate appeal. Background score was imposing at times but two songs were special. Cinematography was a drawback. Editing could have been crisp. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was colorful and natural. Revanth is handsome and he put sincere efforts to perform but he should be versatile with his expressions. Rajitha is voluptuous and has that native sex appeal. If she can tone her body, she is a good choice for glamour roles. K Rajasekhar was apt. Srini Kolla was standard, Sarayu was okay. Rajinikanth and Phani did their bit as required.

Conclusion: For any love story to be successful, the plot will be routine but it is the packaging especially a gripping screenplay and a script that is laced with entertainment quotient which will get the audience’s attention. That was missing in this. While the first half goes in a rather slow manner, it is the second half which gets into the story and the climax twist was interesting. Overall, this is a film which can be watched for the locations and few fine moments. Overall, it would require very strong and aggressive publicity if it has to survive.

IdleStars.Com verdict: Could have been better
