Story: An enjoyable tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Vegas and here lives Rahul (imran) who literally grows as per his parents (boman irani, ratna shah) wishes. However, he loses his job as an architect and decides to hide it from his parents till he gets another one. In this process, he comes across Riana (kareena), an independent and whacky hairstylist who is quite the opposite of Rahul. The story takes a turn when both catch up for few drinks and end up waking next morning only to realize they got married. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with an entertaining storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative missed the mark at some places. The dialogues were bold, the script was written with some valid points but screenplay was not that gripping. Background score was good and two songs were there for listening. Cinematography was the key factor for this film. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was colorful. Imran Khan is all over the film and he outshines everyone with his performance. Kareena is equally good as she delivers a competent performance. Boman Irani was brilliant, Ratna Shah was apt. Ram Kapoor was perfect, Sonia Mehra made her presence felt.
Conclusion: The film tends to draw some inspiration from the Hollywood movie What Happens In Vegas but the script was changed quite a bit. While the first half goes about in a rather entertaining manner with focus on comedy, the second half gets a little stuck with the momentum. Overall, the film scores due to its high production values and some brilliant performances though the content is weak. The openings will be high due to the star power and it could be an above average grosser at the box office.
