Fund Raising For Heart Surgery

Dear Visitors

The friends of Southmp3 Community leader Kiran are raising money for urgent heart surgery for his friend 58 year old who is in desperate need of life saving surgery. Anji Reddy has a heart condition and is in need of PDA ligation in order for him to survive. 
We are currently seeking a location for this surgery to take place, as heart surgery is very uncommon in vijayawada. 
Friends of Kiran in India and abroad are all rallying support and this is the main site for collecting funds. 
You can be assured that the use of donations will be appropriated to the health care of Anji Reddy.

The money collected will go towards the surgical and medical expenses associated with Anji Reddy's heart condition, including travel expenses.

 If more money is collected than what is needed, then the extra money will be put into the feeding program run by Kiran to feed orphans in Andhra Pradesh.

Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy Passed Away

Legendary Telugu film lyricist and national award winner Veturi Sundararama Murthy died of cardiac arrest here late tonight. He was 74. He was ailing for sometime now and was rushed to a corporate hospital in the night after he complained of chest pain. He died of cardiac arrest in the hospital, sources close to his family said. Born at Peda Kallepalli village in Krishna district on January 29, 1936, Veturi began his career as a journalist in Andhra Prabha and Andhra Patrika Telugu dailies. He was a disciple of famous Telugu writer Viswanadha Satyanarayana. Legendary Telugu actor N T Rama Rao was the first to recognise Veturi's writing talent and introduced him to the film industry. He penned the songs for NTR's blockbuster movie 'Adavi Ramudu' and shot into fame instantly. Prior to joining the film industry, Veturi penned many short stories, ballets and poems for All India Radio. Veturi's songs in films like 'Sankarabharanam' and 'Sagara Sangamam' by ace director K Viswanadh won him national acclaim. He won the National award for best song for 'Raalipoyye Puvva Neeku Raagalenduke' from 'Matrudevobhava'. He won eight Nandi awards, instituted by the state government, as best lyricist. Veturi also essayed brief roles in a few films.
