Story: A beautiful tale, the story begins in a middle class locality and here lives Srinu (abhijit) at his uncle’s place because his mother (amala) tells him to go with his sisters and stay there. In the colony, Srinu makes friends with Nagaraj (sudhakar) and another guy (kaushik). On the other hand, Srinu develops liking for Paddu (shagun) his Maradalu while Nagaraj starts liking his neighbour Lakshmi (zara). As for the other guy, he falls for the beautiful Paru (shriya). The boys have scuffles with few rich boys of the posh Gold Phase locality and that also leads to certain incidents in their lives. How they deal with it and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a thoughtful storyline and while the presentation was appealing, the narrative was engaging except for the length.  The dialogues were well written, the script was well knit and the screenplay was smooth. Background score was good and three songs were impressive. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was required during the first half. Costumes were stylish and trendy while the art department was natural and effective.
Abhijit was alright and he did his role as required. Kaushik was cool and had good confidence. Sudhakar was the best among the lot with positive body language and expressive approach. Shagun looks sweet and has got a bright face for a glamour heroine. Zara looks sexy but she has to develop more freeness in front of the camera. Amala was adequate. Anjala was like fresh breeze. The showstealer was Shriya with her astounding beauty and her strikingly attractive screen presence. Surekha Vani was standard. CVL Narasimha Rao was good. The child artist did well. Others didn’t have scope.

Conclusion: The fact that this is a film from Sekhar Kammula is good enough to give it a good start and the general expectations are high. While the first half was not that great and reminds many of the ‘Happy Days’ style, it is the second half where it really picks up and brings some seriousness. Overall, the film is good technically and the content was decent. But the length was a setback as it dragged few scenes. At the box office, this is sure to score with families and youngsters so success looks strong.

IdleStars verdict: Watch it for the beautiful experience called life
