Story: A routine romantic tale, the story begins with Karthik (sumanth) and Nidhi (rhea) who keep fighting when they were kids. Their fathers (prabhu, naga babu) are thick friends. However, Nidhi goes to US for her education and returns after many years. Karthik also grows up and when he sees Nidhi he falls in love with her. Initially he doesn’t reveal his identity to her and later Nidhi discovers it. She also falls in love with him but before she can express, few incidents take place and they get separated. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a wafer thin storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was bad. The dialogues were weak, the script was poor and the screenplay was not that engaging. Background score was okay and songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was good. Editing was required at many places. Costumes were trendy and well designed while the art department was rich. Sumanth Ashwin has done a decent job given his debut performance, he can do better. Rhea Chakraborty was alright but she missed out scoring on few important scenes. Naga Babu was elegant, Prabhu was contained, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao was witty, Manisha Yadav was good. Seetha, Vijayachander, Vinod Kumar, M S Narayana did their bit as required. Sayaji Shinde was standard.

Conclusion: For a love entertainer to be successful it is important to have the right kind of music and the required padding support to appeal to the audience. Both were missing in this one. While the first half tries to go on a lighter vein and brings few funny moments, the interval bang was decent. The second half however fails to generate that kind of interest and looks quite dislodged. Overall, this is a film which is good in production values but not so in terms of content and substance. At the box office, this will fizzle out.
IDLESTARS verdict: Can wait for the DVD
