Emraan upsets his mentor Mahesh Bhatt

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is certainly filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s discovery as it was this filmmaker who gave Emraan his first break through their 2004 erotic film ‘Murder’. Apparently, more than a mentor Mahesh is uncle of Emraan and they share a father-son relationship.

Conversely, few reports suggest that the relationship between the filmmaker-actor has gone kaput and this become pretty much evident when Mahesh chose not to attend ‘Jannat 2’ music launch. The filmmaker reasoned ‘I am busy shooting at Jaipur with ‘Jism 2’ and it would be hectic to leave the town and again return soon.’  Later Mahesh was also quizzed that how come he managed to take time to promote actor Kunal Khemu’s lately released ‘Blood Money’ to which the filmmaker reverted in diplomatic manner saying ‘Emraan is a star now. He could alone manage the promotions. There was a period when Emraan needed my presence but time has changed now. He has got that much matured to take his own decisions’.

These statements of the veteran filmmaker prove that their relationship has gone kaput.
