PC competes with Vidya for Madhur’s next

Speculations were going rife that filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar would soon start working on a South film remake project ‘Ramana’ helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also, there were rumors doing round that Madhur has initiated talks with veteran actor Madhuri Dixit Nene for the sequel of his most ambitious project ‘Fashion’.

Apparently, the filmmaker has dismissed all the reports and has revealed to a tabloid that his next project would be based on political drama for which he has set two female actors names in his mind- Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra. Apparently, one of the two actors would portray the role of politician in the film. Madhur is also in talks with leading production houses – UTV Motion Pictures and EROS to back his forthcoming project.

Madhur would approach both Vidya and Priyanka and whoever is feasible would be finalized for the project that would hit the floors by year end.
