Amrita reminisces her struggling days
For any newcomer actor who is not a star kid or is not having any association with B’town biggies is difficult to get recognition as an actor. They have to struggle a lot and sometimes they do get successful and sometimes they don’t. The latest example is newbie actor Amrita Puri who debuted in Bollywood from Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Aisha’ by playing a supporting role.
However, essaying a supportive role was not something she was dreaming of. In fact, Amrita’s ambition was to become a lead actor and finally she has accomplished it by bagging a lead role in Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Blood Money’ opposite Kunal Khemu.
Amrita recalls her struggling days where she auditioned several times and even faced numerous rejections. Conversely, today Amrita has a reason to smile as she witnesses the release of her second and important film that has given her a status of lead actor and not a supporting actor.
