Director Mani Ratnam's romantic bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, which happens to be his 23rd film, has been titled Kadal.
Actor Karthik's son Gautham will make his debut in this film. Playing Gautham's pair in the movie will be Samantha.
In fact, Samantha has been busy both in Telugu and Tamil. Her film with Mahesh Babu, 'Dookudu' broke a few records while she has 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' under Gautham Menon coming up for release.
'Action king' Arjun is playing a key role in the film. National award winner Thambi Ramaiah is doing an important role. A R Rahman will be scoring the music for Kadal and Rajeev Menon will crank the camera.
