Bebo's 'Heroine' inspired from Manisha's life

Earlier speculations were rife that filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's most ambitious project 'Heroine' is loosely based on real life story of International icon Marilyn Monroe. However, Bhandarkar dismissed the rumors. Apparently, few media reports are now claiming that Kareena Kapoor starrer film is loosely based on real life story of veteran actor Manisha Koirala.

Manisha's life has always been encircled with numerous controversies. Though Manisha might have tasted success in her initial days of B-town entry but later the 41-year-old actor witnessed a downfall in her career, and was in news for her addiction towards bottles and failed relationships.

Manisha even failed in making her marriage successful as the 'Dil Se' actor is now seeking divorce from husband Samrat Dhal with whom she exchanged marriage vows two years back. However, yet again Bhandarkar has come forward and denied the rumors of his film based on Nepali beauty's filmy career.
