Silambarasan starrer Osthi directed by Dharani is scheduled for a release on December 8 but the film has landed in new troubles now as the Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors Association (TFEA) has kept a red card on the movie that is being marketed by Reliance Entertainment.
Sun Pictures that is facing the troubles from TFEA for the unpaid dues to theatrical owners has recently purchased the satellite rights of Osthi. The TFEA has decided to boycott Sun Network a month ago and has put a condition that the films Sun TV purchase the satellite rights will get banned if the money is not returned and now Reliance Entertainment sold Osthi rights to Sun TV. Reliance is said to have been threatened to terminate the Osthi satellite rights with Sun network.
Sun TV is yet to decide on this and to retain the Osthi satellite right they have to pay the unpaid dues to TEFA before December 2.
