ACP  Vijay Khanna is a honest and aggressive police cop. He is also a very angry man. His different nature is rewarded with a record number of transfers. But he never changes his attitude. After some altercation with Hyderabad political members, he is transferred to Mumbai.

Vijay is tasked with investigation of the murder of deputy collector. He soon realises that powerful mania is behind the crime. An NRI named Maya (Priyanka Chopra) is the eye witness and Vijay asks her help. As investigation is going quickly, he realises Rudra Pratap Teja (Prakash Raj) is the main person behind the entire criminal operation.

As Vijay is closer to truth, Rudra Pratap Teja uses all his money and Vijay was suspended by his influence. Vijay shows his angry and vows to destroy Rudra Pratap Teja. What follows next is a revenge drama where Vijay takes Sher Khan (Sri Hari) help and a honest crime reporter Jay Dev (Tanikella Bharani) to bring down Rudra Pratap Teja.

Plus Points :

• Ram Charan is at his best in the movie and he looked good as a cop.He made his Bollywood Debut with a power packedperformance.
• Priyanka chopra added the glamour touch to the movie,especially in "Mumbai ke hero" and "Pinky songs"
• Sri Hari and Thanikella Bharanii are upto their mark and effective.
• Prakash Raj is good,he was supported by Mahe Gill.
• The Run time of the movie is short,which means that pace of the movie is good and is an asset.
• Gururaj's cinematography is good and visuals are attractive.
• Apoorva lakhia has done a decent job as a director,he should have added some humour and entertainment elements which might boost the film.

Minus Points :

•  The plot looks quite superficial and predictable.
• The humour content in the film is low and placement of the songs is bad.
• Editing could have been even better,second half revenge drama makes audience feel it as a routine flick
• The mass elements that a fan expects in charan movie will be missing as it is not a regular Telugu Film.

Verdict: 

Ram Charan given powerful performance in the movie. This is very different movie from original version Zanjeer. A better script and more entertainment would have been really helped them more. Still, the movie ends up with a good cop drama. No star hero movies released recently. So this movie has high chances to be a another hit in Charan career.
