Ranbir to romance Alia Bhatt in Abhinav Kashyap’s next

Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap of the ‘Dabangg’ fame is likely to get on board filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt as the female lead for his forthcoming untitled project that features actor Ranbir Kapoor in the main lead.

Alia is supposed to enter in Bollywood through Karan Johor's upcoming directorial venture ‘The Student Of The Year’ that would hit the theatres by October 19. Currently, Alia is in Bangkok busy shooting for her debut vehicle’s last shooting schedule.

However, few sources close to Kashyap suggests that he wanted to introduce a fresh pairing through his upcoming flick and as Alia is a newcomer it would be great to experiment with Ranbir and Alia’s Jodi. Another major reason for Kashyap to rope in Alia for his next is that she perfectly fits his bill. However, neither Alia nor Kashyap has confirmed the news.
