Sonam‘s priority is Bollywood

Lastly we heard that actor Sonam Kapoor is waiting for an opportunity to bag a Hollywood project. Conversely, the petite beauty has recently admitted that her prime focus is just on her Bollywood career. Apparently, Sonam made this statement as a reason for her walking out of South filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil project which would mark as debut vehicle for veteran actor Karthik’s son Gautham.

If sources are to be believed, Sonam was the initial choice of Ratnam and he was very much keen to get Sonam on board for his upcoming directorial venture. On the contrary, things did not work out between the filmmaker-actor duo and then Ratnam finalized South actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu to essay the female lead.

A source close to Sonam reveals that the Sonam feels it’s too early to move towards South as she has yet to work with ace filmmakers in B’town after which she could head towards South.
