Makers of ‘Hate Story’ miffed with Censor Board
The Censor Board has apparently restricted the makers of ‘Hate Story’ to edge out the ‘sex’ and abusive words from the film. The Board reasons that few words in the film are too indecent and objectionable and the board has taken this decision after watching the first theatrical promo of the film.
However, this action of the Censor Board has not gone well with the makers of the film especially director Vivek Agnihotri who feels that the usage of those words are essential in order to acquire gravity of the story line of the movie.
Agnihotri stated ‘As the sex scenes are important for the film, same applies for the dialogues. The film would remain ineffective in term of boldness if these are removed.’ Conversely, the director is happy with the fact that Censor has allowed the makers to have uncensored promos of the film on You Tube without deleting or muting any scenes or words.
