Yash Chopra's next not a remake of 'Daag'

Earlier few reports suggested that Yash Chopra's upcoming untitled directorial venture featuring Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma is a remake of YRF's 1973 classic hit 'Daag' that featured yesteryear actors Rakhee, Sharmila Tagore and Rajesh Khanna.

The classic film was a love triangle with one male lead and two female leads. Similarly Chopra has now roped Katrina, Anushka and Srk to reprise the veteran actors’ roles. However, a source close to the filmmaker said that the upcoming film has a fresh script that is written by taking into consideration the choice of today's generation. The film has just been taken on the floors one month back, in first week of January and is about to hit the theatres by Diwali.

This project is much talked about as Yash Chopra is making his comeback in the field of direction after 'Veer-Zaara' that released in 2004.
