TDP was an unexpected success says Vidya

Bollywood actor Vidya Balan who is riding high on the success of Milan Luthria's blockbuster hit 'The Dirty Picture' admits that she never expected the film to be such a huge hit. Though, Vidya might have proved herself with films like 'Ishqiya', 'Paa' and 'No One Killed Jessica' but it was 'The Dirty Picture' that made Vidya an overnight star.

Viddy B almost swept the most of the Best Actor Female award in every awards show. The 33-year-old actor also proved her versatility in every single film she signed. Vidya is now gearing up for Sujoy Ghosh's ' Kahaani' where she is portraying a role of pregnant women in search of her husband. Meanwhile, Vidya who aspires to experiment with every genre of films has also signed comedy flick 'Ghanchakkar' opposite Emraan Hashmi.
