Deepika Padukone in Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan

Finally Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan gets a heroine. Director Soundarya has been in search of suitable heroine for a while. She tried all the big names in Bollywood circuit. There was a big speculation about Katrina Kaif taking up this role.

After all the speculations, Soundarya finally announced that Deepika Padukone will be playing the female lead in this most anticipated movie. Deepika was supposed to be the heroine in Rajinikanth’s dream project Rana, which was scrapped due to health problems of superstar.

Kochadaiyaan is India’s first performance capture photorealistic film. The film is progressing rapidly.
