Sonam Kapoor in awe of the golden era

Sonam Kapoor has been famous for her inclination towards vintage fashion and style. But not many know that not only she loves the olden style but she is also in awe of olden films. Sonam recently revealed that she loved the olden era films as she believed that films then had a lot of meaning hidden in it and also the expressions did more good than expected. “There was so much meaning in subtlety back then. For instance, in the song Chalte Chalte from Pakeezah, Meena Kumari enters her kotha and just looks at the men present there, that's it. She doesn't do anything else, her expressions say it all. This is what I mean when I say that we have lost that charm of acting with expression” confessed Sonam. She compared the golden era with the current scenario and revealed that how things have changed from now and then, “Now we need the support of dialogues and lighting to make a scene work, back then all worked on expressions” added Sonam.

When asked about her favorite actor she proudly announced it, “I love Waheeda Rehman. If I had to relive a character on screen, it would definitely be Waheedaji's character Rosie from Guide” revealed Sonam.
